Mom turned 31 today.  She is starting to sound like an old woman and does not want to keep getting older.  So when she finally turned 30 last year, she decided that she is going to start going backward in age...thus she is now 29 apparently.

We went to Annapolis, Maryland about an hour away to enjoy the day.  She took time off work so we could go on a tour of the historic Annapolis area.  We had breakfast at the Silver Diner where I gave her a new camera that will most likely be the number one photographic journal of you for the next few years.  She was very excited.

Once we got to Annapolis we took a tour riding Segways around the small town.  Segways may or may not exist when you grow up, but they are basically platforms with wheels that you stand on and they move forward or backward based on how you lean on the platform.  They were so much fun and the day was absolutely beautiful.  At the end of the tour we decided on the drive home that we need to take every Segway tour in every city we visit from here on out...they were that cool.

The rest of the day was nice and although we had an argument here and there, I think it deserves an "A" grade for birthdays.  I think we will both remember it for years to come.

Goodnight little one,
Dad.
