Growing
Mom & Dad: Another quick one. You are obviously eating well and putting on weight. I have no clue how much you weigh at this point (we'll find out next month), but you have definitely grown. You are still our little baby, but each day you seem to change a little. Whether it is your weight or the shape of your face you look little different and a little cuter each and every day.
The only negative part about growing and the only real "problem" we have had with you physically at this point is something we noticed on the back of your head behind your left ear. There was a red lump that we noticed about 3 weeks after you were born, that seemed to just appear out of nowhere, it was there one day and gone the next. Mom took you into the doctors and it turns out that you have a hemangioma. Basically, it is benign tumor of blood vessels. The good news is that it is on the back of your head and covered by hair. Additionally, it should shrink in size if not completely go away as you grow up. Nanny actually still has the remnants of one in the same spot on her head that I had never known was there. I also had one as a baby on my forehead that is now gone. So I am sure everything is going to be fine. It does not seem to bother you and like I said, no one can really see it unless they are looking for it.
Update: We weighed you at the lactation appointment and you are up to 8lbs 3oz.
