Diapers

Dad: This one is pretty straight forward.  You go through a lot of diapers.  Sometimes we change you and then change you 5 minutes later.  Some times you need changing again while we are still changing you.  You have had some days where you don't need changing much at all and then wake up the next day needing a change that made up for nothing in your diaper the previous day.  You are baby and that is what you do.  I would have to say that if you take after your mom when it comes to sleep, you take after me when it comes to your diapers.

Mom: I guess I understand why daddy decided to dedicate an entire post to diapers, its a very big part of your life right now, and in turn, its become a pretty big part of ours. We change you alot! We might actually change you more than you need. There are times when you cry that we try to change you in hopes that that is what is bothering you and you will stop crying, And guess what, sometimes it works.

Due to the large number of diapers that we have gone through, I am glad we didn't go the cloth diaper route that I had originally wanted to go. However, we are quickly running out of the newborn diapers that daddy couponed and I think we will start to see exactly how expensive these disposable diapers are. Maybe we will go the cloth in a few months.
