Well this post is about a month late, but things have been getting a little crazy around here in anticipation of your arrival.
About 2 months ago, I started getting a pretty sharp pain in the upper right stomach, pretty much on top of my growing belly. Daddy and I had speculated on what organ was located there that could be causing the pain, was it the liver? the kidney we weren't sure. The pain was worrisome enough though, that I mentioned it during one of my appointments, the doctor wasn't sure what could be causing a pain like that, so she prescribed another ultrasound.
A few days later, we were getting our ultrasound, and this time instead of focusing on you, they were focusing on mommy.
Turns out Daddy and I's speculation was wrong, it was actually the gallbladder.
They couldn't find anything wrong with it, no inflammation, no stones, which was great news but at the same time, a little disappointing. Don't misunderstand I certainly didn't want anything to be wrong, but knowing what was causing this pain would have been nice. But, we were able to find out what position you were in....you were butt first :) Your head was upper left and your feet were upper right. Silly girl, whoever heard of a baby being in such an odd position.
And although they couldn't find anything that would be causing the sharp pains, we were able to leave the office with this beauty...

Look at your little nose....You are so cute already, I can't wait to see you in person.
