You gave mommy and daddy quite a scare the last couple days.

It all started on Saturday, we spent the afternoon at Pops and Grandma Jane's house and I started getting sharp pain in my upper stomach and cramping in my lower stomach. No biggie.

From their house we went to meet Grandpa Tom and Grandma Judy for dinner to celebrate Grandpa's birthday, YUM! I had chicken fried steak.

We came home and the pain was still there, but daddy gave me a back rub and I got to sleep.

On Sunday I did my usual running errands and household chores, but the pain was still there, so I tried to take it somewhat easy for most of the evening. That night there was also a large amount of pressure near my pelvis which was a little worrisome, but I attempted to get some sleep, which wasn't completely successful, and not think about it.

When I woke up on Monday morning and the pain was still very much there, I started to get a little concerned. I worked through the morning, but come 11am or so I called the doctors office. I described the pain I was having and they wanted me to come in. A few hours later Adam and I are at the doctors office. I explain to the doctor what was going on and she seemed a little worried that the pain in the upper stomach could be something with my liver, so they drew some blood to run a few tests to check.

Oh no, that doesn't sound good.

The other pain in my lower abdomen she thought could be a sign of preterm labor. Wait, WHAT?!?!?  She did an exam but needed to send a test out to be completely sure that I was not dilated.

WHAT!?!?!?!

WHAT IS GOING ON!?!?!?!

This is not what we had expected to hear. I was told to take it easy for the rest of the day and the following until we got the test results back. So for the next day and a half this was my view.

(ignore the fact that my legs look like sausages, its just the angle I swear.)

I worked from home the rest of Monday and Tuesday, spending almost the entire time on the couch.

Around 3:30 on Tuesday we hadn't heard anything, so Adam asked if could call in and find out. We were both really worried and I knew we would both feel better just knowing, either way. After spending several minutes on hold...

she finally came back on the line and...

....

EVERYTHING IS FINE!!! (*huge sigh*)

She is not 100% sure what the pain is, but is chalking it up to severe "growing pains."

You are just growing faster than mommy's tummy is comfortable with I guess.

We are all glad everything is okay, and mommy will continue to take good care of you I promise.

Love you.
