Something that I haven't told you yet is that we don't have much money saved away.  I am living month-to-month trying to make ends meet while your mom goes to work everyday for that steady paycheck.  Without boring you, let me just say that that 10 years ago anyone could buy a home in this area.  You basically had to show up and they would give you a loan.  After a bunch of stuff happened in the financial markets that you probably won't ever hear about in school, things came to a complete halt.  The long-story-short is that we have a problem finding a home for us.

That is why Grandpa Tom was going to help us out.  I'm not really sure how it will help us in the long run, but right now you are our number one priority.

We checked out places today and realized that there are certain areas we would rather raise you versus other areas. Your mom and I have had parents that love us too much to let us see a lesser life.  I hope we can do that for you.

We are looking at places in Reston (where we live now) and others in Sterling.  Grandpa Tom is coming to see them tomorrow to see what he thinks.  In the end, we just want to raise you in a safe neighborhood with a good school system.  When you finally read this and care about it you will understand why...but I'm sure right now you are saying "who cares!?!"

I will let you know how the next few days and weeks go.  Your mom has spent the day preparing her healthy lunches and dinners for the next week, just to make sure you are a healthy happy baby.

We both love you!
