So little N, we had a chance to hear you again today at mom's appointment with the doctor.  You still seem to sound just fine at 150 heartbeats per minute.  When I hit 70 heartbeats per minute I feel like I'm ready to pass out...so hopefully it means you are going to be in better shape than your old man!

The appointment went well although the doctor said mom is gaining more weight than she should be at the moment.  Neither of us are really sure why that is since she eats much better than I have ever seen her ever eat before, but my guess is that the scale is just messed up! :)  She is going to make sure to be more careful about what she eats and how much she exercises, but I think everything will even out just fine in the next few weeks.

The first potentially "bad" news we have had since we found out about you came today as well.  Apparently, mom has something called a deviated uterus.  That means that she has a slight bump or wall at the top of the place you are growing right now.  We will keep an eye on you as time goes on, but everything should be fine.  In a worst-case scenario we may have to opt to deliver you via a C-section if you decide not to cooperate as your due date gets closer.  We aren't too worried, but if something like that does happen I look at it as your first act of defiance in your life with your mom and I :)

Otherwise, you appear to be healthy based on our tests we took a few weeks ago and we are really excited about everything that is happening.
